RWF sent a letter to District Mayor Muriel Bowser offering to pay for the removal of the George Preston Marshall Monument that stands in the front entrance of RFK stadium. Mr. Marshall was the first owner of the team and an avowed segregationist. He coined the racist name. Read the letter and press release here:

It seems like Rebrand Washington Football is so much willing to do everything just to get their project done. I don't have any problem with that, as long as all there processes they do are lead and within the right means. At first, I don't understand why they want George Preston Marshall Monument removed as soon as possible. But when I heard their reasons, I finally got the reason behind the plan and I understood it.
